The active ingredients in Sankatana have been clinically demonstrated to act as anti-inflammatories, and as such, may rapidly alleviate symptoms such as coughing, headache, tightness of chest and difficulty breathing, which are common symptoms in diseases such as COVID-19, Influenza, Asthma and Pneumonia.
The modes-of-action of Sankatana ingredients include:
- Anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies which may inhibit SARS-CoV-2 viruses from gaining entry into human cells (inhibits viral entry through binding to conserved regions of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein responsible for viral entry and/or subsequent endosomal escape and hence cell entry.)
- May reduce lung inflammation in patients with COVID-19 and alleviate allergies (Predicted reduction in severe mast cell activated immunopathology.)
- May assist with reducing systemic inflammation (predicted inhibition of NF-kB activation/dysregulation.)
Patients with chronic allergies or who have tested positive for COVID-19 are requested to try the Sankatana formulation, and record the results online to assist us to evaluate its effects on the immune response. The Sankatana yogurt is safe for consumption and can be made part of one’s daily diet/plan unless the patient has egg allergies. Sankatana contains extracts of commercially farmed eggs and a turmeric preparation formulated in our lab for efficient delivery of the active ingredients in the oral mucosa (mouth), esophagus (gullet), and upper intestinal tract (small intestine).
