ZINCIDONE® is the zinc salt of L-Pyrrolidone Carboxylic acid. This source of zinc ensures better absorption and penetration of the zinc ions into the cells. Research suggests that topical applications significantly reduce skin sebum production. Various studies have shown the possible antimicrobial activity of zinc and may assist with limiting bacterial colonisation on the skin.

Curcylic® 40 is a patented form of Salicylic Acid that is clear, safe, water-stable. Salicylic Acid works as a keratolytic by exfoliating the skin, causing the cells of the epidermis to shed more readily, preventing pores from clogging, and allowing for new cell growth. It is considered effective because of its ability to penetrate skin pores and hair follicles, clearing them of debris at a deeper level, reducing blockage, acne flare ups and breakouts. Salicylic Acid also has antimicrobial properties as well as documented improvement in skin thickness, barrier functions, and collagen production.

Complex 9 Berries is made up of a blend of the following berries: Acai, Bilberry, Strawberry, Cherry, Black mulberry, Wild blackberry, Cranberry, Raspberry, and Lingonberry. These are all powerful antioxidants and protect the skin from damage by various free radicals. They seem to have skin restructuring properties due to their anti-aging abilities. Various studies also show that the berries may also have skin moisturising effects.
